I am a fourth year transfer student at UCLA pursuing a B.S. in Biological Anthropology along with a minor in Evolutionary Medicine.
I would describe myself as a hard-working, respectful, and dedicated individual with a strong interest in serving my community. I enjoy learning new things and being able to expand my knowledge, whether it be related to medicine, a specific subject, or just general knowledge. Apart from my academics, I enjoy hiking and running, listening to music, spending time with family & friends, traveling, and trying new foods. My ultimate career goal is to become an otolaryngologist who specializes in head and neck surgery. Additionally, I plan to conduct research on a diverse array of illnesses and diseases, such as breast cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. I have a strong background in community service that merges with my passion for medicine and science. I believe that helping others and giving back in any aspect is the most priceless action we can do. |
