I am a fourth-year student at UCLA pursuing a psychobiology major. I have strong interests in education and mental healthcare. During my undergraduate years, I participated as a learning assistant for introductory genetics, where I fostered and built my scientific curiosities. Yearning to contribute to the research that informs the science I teach, I joined the Chrastil Neuroscience Lab, the Bjork Learning and Forgetting Lab, and the Zipursky Lab. Here, I respectively explored my diverse interests in disability studies, education, and neuroscience. I learned as a researcher the impact that collaborative problem-solving can have in creating informed conclusions. I aim to carry my passion for teamwork and dedication for scientific research into medical school to provide holistic and comprehensive care to my future patients.
